The Belgian Shepherd Dog is a large breed of dog which is a member of the Sheepdog group of dogs. This breed is also commonly know as the Belgian Sheepdog. It has similarities to the German Shepherd dog breed.
The Belgian Shepherd dog breed are highly intelligent dogs, and are bred to be alert and sensitive to everything going on around them. They develop extremely strong relationships with their owners. This means that they need significant socialising when puppies.
