The Bolognese breed of dog are a small companion breed which belong to the Bichon family of dogs including the Bichon Frise and Maltese breed of dogs among others. In the UK Kennel Club, the Bolognese breed belongs in the 'Toy Group' of dogs.
Bolognese dogs are highly intelligent and very quick to learn. They are usually very happy and playful, therefore making great companions for their owners.
