The Boston Terrier breed of dog is a small to medium-sized dog which originates from the United States. In the UK Kennel Club the Boston Terrier belongs in the 'Utility' dog group. The Boston Terrier was created by crossing the 'Old English Bulldog' breed and the 'English White Terrier', both of these breeds are now extinct.
Boston Terriers where bred as a companion dog, so they enjoy being around people.
