There are three kinds of Fox Terriers - The Smooth Fox Terrier (pictured above), the Wirehaired Fox Terrier and the Toy Fox terrier. The Smooth Fox Terrier was developed in England and is believed to descend from a mixture of the smooth-coated Black and Tan Terrier, the Greyhound, the Bull Terrier, and the Beagle.
The Smooth Fox Terrier dog breed make excellent family pets. As they are intelligent and active breed, they must be kept well exercised and a part of the family. They are very affectionate and playful.
