The Sussex Spaniel is classed in the Gundog Group in the UK Kennel Club. It is quite similar in looks to the Clumber Spaniel .
The Sussex Spaniel dog breed are generally quite happy dogs. They make great pets, show dogs or gun dogs. The breed is a guarding breed and they can sometimes be quite possessive of their owners.
